    An 18k gold and enamel brooch / pendant from the Louis Philippe era (1830�'1848), set with circa 3 carats of old mine cut diaonds. France, circa 1845.

This magnificent 18 karat gold European piece from the 1840s can be a pendant and a brooch, depending on the occasion and the mood. It has fine black enamel rims and it is set with circa 3 carats of beautiful old mine cut diamonds.
