Gold enameled watch with 1/4 hour repetition

Julien Le Roy was “clock-maker to the king” and was one of the finest and most famous clock-makers of his time in France.
Floral flowerwork in green champlevée enamel on the outer case. The case is pierced at the side.
Le Roy furnished the white enamelled dial with Arabic and Roman numerals and diamond set silver hands. The button is diamond set.
The movement has verge escapement with chain and fusee. The pierced balance cock is decorated with flowerpattern and has a small ruby acting as the end stone.
The hammers of the 1/4 hour repeater striking train strike a bell in the bottom of the case.
