Face-à-main hand carved horn applied with an 18k yellow gold decor and purple enamel enhanced on both sides of an amethyst. Yellow gold frame. Signed LALIQUE   

A narrow downward oval fan-out handle, adorned with gold enamelled floral motifs around a faceted amethyst. The spectacle lenses in gold mount.
Lalique first discovered the horn in 1896 to make jewelry. Buffalo horn from India or South America.
