Description

An antique 14-karat gold bar brooch set with a cabochon-cut blue sapphire (5.7 x 3.7 mm) and a small rose-cut diamond.

Austria-Hungary, circa 1900

Of Hungarian nobility: through the great-grandchildren of Inámi Bolgár Ferenc (3 January 1851 – 23 May 1923), he was a prominent Hungarian politician, journalist and Member of Parliament of noble descent; the suffix 'Inámi' indicates noble descent or the ownership of lands.
