Description

Ring of steel, gold and silver. A beautiful Louis XVI ring with flower and leaf motifs. The combination of steel and gold is very special, this ring also has the combination of silver and gold set on steel, a technique that they also used for weapons. The ornament depicts a vase with flowers, above which an iron plate without engraving, so the ring was never used as a seal. French origin around 1800 and in new condition. The size is large: 20 3/4 mm.
