Description

An antique 18-karat gold hand-engraved clasp ring. Hallmarked with the maker's mark SHS, hallmarks for 18 karat, the city of Birmingham and the year letter O for the year 1888. The buckle motif represents eternity, fidelity, strength and protection. The ivy leaves in the design are also typically Victorian and a symbol of holding onto each other. Ring size 17 mm / US 6.5.
