Tubogas (gas pipe) is thename given to a chain of interlocking strips of gold tightly wound together. A tubogas bracelet or necklace is a flexible, hollow chain that does not require soldering. The handmade tubogas technique has been around for centuries and became extremely popular in the 1940s, when innovations were needed to accommodate the scarcity of jewelry materials.
