Large oval pendant in gold and enamel

An oval gold pendant on a beautiful handmade chain, with a painted representation of Saint Monica in enamel with an open book and a rosary in hand. She is the patron saint of women and mothers and of victims of domestic violence. On the back the signature JB for Joanna Brom (1898-1980), a hand engraving on the edge: Monique Mignot, May 22, 1952.
