The Nikolai Linden jewelry company has a very interesting history and even collaborated with Fabergé. In 1892, Nikolai Linden established a workshop on Nevsky Prospect, St. Petersburg's main street, where he repaired jewelry and watches. Over time, the workshop also became a jewelry and watch shop, eventually becoming one of the most successful of its kind in St. Petersburg. At the beginning of the twentieth century, Linden was appointed as a supplier to various royal courts, including the Shah of Iran, the Russian Imperial House, and the kings of Montenegro, Bulgaria, and Romania.
