Victorian diamond rivière necklace

Rivière necklace in silver set with 78 old European cut diamonds. Hidden lock at the back. Sits beautifully on the neck, it's rare and wearable. This piece dates from the mid-19th century.The old hand-cut diamonds are in open settings and descending in size. The four largest stones together weigh approximately 4.0 ct. The diamonds are approximately 18.5 ct in total.
