For a few years now, Queen Máxima has been wearing pointed bells from the Land of Cadzand (ca. 1860) that originally come from our collection. We gave an interview to the royal magazine Royalty about Dutch regional jewelry and these earrings in particular.

Ron Dekker: 'What makes this jewelry special are the hours that have been put into it. They were made in poor times, and if you don't have expensive materials, the artistic sides of goldsmiths come to the fore. Everything about these earrings is made by hand. No two are the same, that's impossible, and they are all works of art in themselves.'
